Here’s the nitty gritty on the best ways to find discounts for the Accor family of hotels.
How To Save Money With Accor

1 – Pay Now And Save
Every hotel these days is trying to sucker you into paying a non-refundable rate in exchange for a discount. With Accor, it’s called Advance Saver Rate.
This is to each’s own but our honest opinion is that paying a non-refundable rate isn’t worth it. In many cases, being an Accor Live Limitless member will give you a 10% discount already and the free cancellation rates are the same or not far off. Having flexibility is important.
PRO TIP: If you were wondering, we’ve also compared prices with Expedia and Booking.com, and consistently, booking directly with Accor yields lower prices (pay attention to the total price after taxes). Of course, if you find a better price on one of these platforms, you can always price match (we cover this below).
It’s also worth noting that you can only earn Accor Live Limitless points if you book directly with them.
2 – Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program
Being a member of Accor’s loyalty program, Accor Live Limitless (ALL) is free and also gives you access to members’ discounts which ranges from 5%-10%.
Yes, you heard us right, joining ALL – Accor Live Limitless is free and unlocks instant discounts.
As an ALL member, you can get these benefits (depending on your status level):
- Bonus points on stays (Silver – 24%, Gold – 48%, Platinum – 76%, Diamond – 100%).
- Free internet
- Health club & sports facilities
- Priority welcome
- Welcome drink
- Early check-in/late check-out
- Welcome amenitiy
- Lounge access (for certain brands/properties)
- Free breakfast
There is a caveat though, sometimes, there are hotels that don’t have any member rates for one reason or another. There are also properties that don’t participate in the loyalty program at all and you can find them in this list. These are mostly for their top properties and most ibis properties.
You can of course redeem your points for free stays but we delve into that at the end of our list.
In addition to hotel stays, you can also redeem points for Accor Limitless Experiences, and a variety of partners that range from luxury package stays, restaurants, activities, car rental, trains, parking, shopping, and more.
As a general rule of thumb, the industry values ALL Reward points as 2 cents (USD/EUR) per point, 3 cents (CAD) per point.
PRO TIP: To reduce environmental impact, they also have a program to earn 1,000 Reward points for each day you skip housekeeping (simply use the Skip the Clean sign on your door).
3 – Special Promotions
Accor runs promos throughout the year that are great to help accelerate the earnings of ALL Reward points.
- Earn 2X Reward points
- Earn 3X Reward points
- Earn 4X Reward points
In addition to point accelerator promos, they also will run seasonal promotions that coincide with various quarters of the year. Here are a few examples from the past include:
- End of Year – Up to 20% off stays of 2 nights or more.
- Winter Sale – Up to 20% off stays
- Spring Sale – Up to 20% off stays
- Summer Sale – Save up to 25% on stays of 3+ nights
- Black Friday – Up to 40% discount on stays
These types of offers are often locked to specific regions.
Regional Promotions
What we’ve learned is that Accor properties aren’t as cohesive as other brands. We’ve found that different brands and individual properties will run their own promotions and sales.
These are campaigns that you don’t have to register for.
The Country Change Trick
The hidden secret is that on Accor, you only get shown deals in the country they’ve geolocated you to.
If you go to the bottom of the Accor Hotels website, you can change the language to the country you’re going to. By doing this, you’ll see the deals that are for that country.
The caveat is that there might be special conditions that make you ineligible so make sure to read the fine text.
PRO TIP: To learn about these, your best bet is to be subscribed to the Accor newsletter. Better yet, make it a habit so that whenever you book a stay at an Accor property, check the site and online to see if there are promotions.
Your best bet is to always check their deals and offers page.

4 – Memberships
If you are members of AAA or CAA, a senior, a veteran, or a member of the military or government, you’re eligible for discounts but only in North America.
Something that’s a bit frustrating with Accor is that their discounts aren’t consistent across all brands and properties so you really have to test them to see what kind of discount you can get or if it’s available at all.
It also seems like these discounts only apply for Fairmont properties which would explain why they have a special page for CAA/AAA, diplomats and government officials. There are then one-offs like the Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square with their Military/Government special.
- AAA or CAA – Save up to 10%.
- Senior (55+) – Save up to 15% off.
- Military/Veterans – Very inconsistent and seems to only show up for Fairmont properties. Discount is up to 20%.
- Government – Very inconsistent and seems to only show up for Fairmont properties. Discount we’ve seen goes up to 20%.
To get these discounts, expand “Special rates” and go to “Other special rates and promo codes”.

Does Accor check for ID? They don’t always but there’s always a possibility that they’d check your ID for your age, military/government/veteran status, or auto club membership. They are the most strict with Government rates.

If you’re not a member of the auto club, AAA, sign up to access instant discounts.
5 – Accor Promo Codes And Corporate Code
With Accor, they have special rates for travel professionals and specific companies. If you’re lucky enough to work for one of these, you may be eligible for special promo rates.
All of these corporate rates have free cancellation 24 hours prior to 4:00 PM local hotel time. These are eligible for ALL Rewards.
As an employee, make sure you know whether you’re allowed to use this for business (corporate travelers) or leisure travel.
From our analysis, we noticed that there’s a lot of volatility in the discount that codes provide between different Accor brands and locations around the world. Ultimately, we couldn’t find any specific patterns. so what we did was average the discounts across all of the properties we looked at.
How To Enter Accor Codes
Entering promo codes or corporate codes is not too different from other hotel corporate codes. What makes things different for Accor is in the naming and how they employ two different set of numbers.

From the Accor homepage, expand the “Special rates” drop down. This will expand a new section and the area you want to pay attention to is “Professional Travellers”.
Enter in the “Business client with contract” and “Access code” in the field. Once done, click on “Search”.

You’ll know that the code was applied with the Professional Travellers callout at the top.
In the search results, look for hotels with the “Chain discount” tag in the results. Also look for the more hidden “This accommodation also offers a Chain Discount”.

Continue to the selecting a room. In the rates, you’ll see the corporate discount mentioned in several places.
It’s as easy as that!
Does Accor Check ID?
In order to be eligible to use an Accor corporate or promo code, you need to be an employee of the company. As a result, it’s possible that the front desk at check-in may ask for your ID.
Acceptable forms of identification are:
- Badge or pass with the company name and picture.
- Business card that includes your name and company.
- Email (printed or on the phone) showing your e-mail address with the company name.
Are Corporate Discounts Actually Cheaper?
Contrary to what you might think, corporate discounts aren’t necessarily the cheapest.
For instance, individual brands will run their own promotion that could beat a corporate code. The Advance Saver Rate is usually always available as well.
Remember, just by being a member of ALL, you’re already getting 5-10% off.
PRO TIP: Most of the time, you can only see these promos if you don’t have a corporate code applied.
When you’re researching, make sure to check out the discounts that are offered without corporate codes so you have the full picture.
Can You Earn ALL Reward Points with Corporate Codes?
Yes, you are eligible to earn ALL Reward points when you use a corporate code.

The first place you should always look to see what’s happening is the page below.
6 – Price Matching
If you love a game, this is for you. Every hotel brand has their own version of this and Accor’s “Best Price Guarantee” is one of the best, offering a whopping 25% off if you find a better price elsewhere (10% if it’s Fairmont, Swissôtel, or Raffles).
If you find a lower, publicly available price online, they’ll not only match it, but they’ll discount it further. Here are the specific steps prescribed by Accor.
- Book room on Accor first
- Compare prices and find a lower rate elsewhere
- Fill out an online claims form (has to be done within 24 hours)
- Upload a screenshot
- Request a refund (if rate is prepaid)
We recommend using one of these sites to see if you can get a better price.
The main condition of price matching is this:
- Booking must be made through an Accor channel (websites, mobile websites or Accor application, brand websites, reservation centres or directly with the hotel).
- You must make the claim within 24 hours following confirmation of your booking sent by email or the confirmation of your booking by telephone, and no later than 48 hours before the planned date of arrival at the hotel.
- This has to be for same hotel, for the same date(s), the same length of stay, at the same rate conditions (i.e. refundable or non-refundable, prepayment and deposit requirements, room only or with breakfast included, booking cancellation and change condition), the same type of room (identical category, size, beds, view or location) and the same number of people in the room.
- The room at the lower price has to be available at booking and the price needs to be calculated in the same manner (i.e. taxes, VAT, services).
- The competitor rate can’t be behind a password or login.
- If the third party booking is in a different currency than what was booked with Accor, they will convert the third party’s rate to Euros. It is also considered “cheaper” if it’s at least 5% or 5 Euros less than the eligible booking.
- These Accor brands don’t apply: 25Hours, Angsana, ArtSeries, BanyanTree, BreakFree, Cassia, Delano, Dhawa, Elan, Greet, Hanting, Hi inn, Hyde, Ji, Mantis, Mantra, Manxin, Mondrian, Onefinestay, PepperS, Rixos, Sbe, SLS, Starway, The House Of Originals, Tribe.
- If you’ve prepaid, Accor will refund the difference. If not, you will pay the new rate.
After you fill out the claim form, a service representative will contact you within 48 hours to confirm that it meets the criteria. After you complete your stay, you’ll receive your prepaid card within 6 weeks or you’ll receive the first night free.
7 – Stay For Free Using ALL Rewards
Nothing beats free right? This is a bit more of a long-game but if you’ve been focusing on building up ALL Rewards, it’ll pay off when you can get your upcoming dream stay without spending a dime.
Unlike other programs, ALL Reward points doesn’t redeem based on property categories. Instead, it’s quite simple. 2,000 ALL Reward points = €40 (converted to the local currency).
For Onefinestay properties, you convert your points to vouchers that are valid for a year:
- 7,200 ALL Reward points = €100 voucher
- 36,000 ALL Reward points = €500 voucher
- 72,000 ALL Reward points = €1,000 voucher
- 360,000 ALL Reward points = €5,000 voucher
Does Accor have co-branded credit cards?
No, Accor doesn’t have any branded credit cards.
8 – ALL Plus ibis and ALL Plus Voyageur
To augment your Accor experience, they uniquely created a subscription services that entitles you to additional benefits. There are two products are: ALL ibis card and ALL Plus Voyageur. Both are geared towards corporate travellers.
ALL ibis Card
This is €99 per year and is geared towards people that exclusively stay at ibis properties. This membership comes with these benefits:
- 15% discount on stays at ibis hotels.
- 10 Status Nights.
- Discount is valid for 1 or 2 rooms on your professional and personal stays.
- Available room guaranteed up to 2 days before your stay begins, even if the hotel is full (cannot be combined with room discount).
- Direct access to premium customer care.
ALL Plus Voyageur
For access to discounts to 22 brands of Accor group, this card is a better product and costs €199 per year. It comes with these benefits:
- 20% discount across 12 Luxury and Premium brands, 15% off at 10 Midscale and Economy brands.
- 20 Status Nights offered.
- Discounts are valid for 1 or 2 rooms on your professional and personal stays.
- Available room guaranteed up to 2 days before your stay begins, even if the hotel is full (cannot be combined with room discount).
- Direct access to premium customer care.
For both memberships, there is a set of properties that decided not to participate so it is worthwhile to check if you’re impacted, if you’re interested in this.
So what? The reason why you would want this is because you can really take advantage of those discounts. For casual travellers, we wouldn’t recommend it but if you frequently travel to countries with a heavy Accor presence, this could make sense. That said, this does not give you any free night stays so on that front, this is not that attractive.
9 – Accor Plus in Asia Pacific
To make things even more confusing, Accor in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region have their own version which is called Accor Plus (notice the difference from ALL Plus).
This is an annual membership that comes with specific benefits:
- 20 elite qualifying nights
- 10 bonus elite qualifying nights when renewing this membership
- 10% off room rates
- Up to 50% off dining (25,% if alone, 50% if with a guest, 33% if with two guests)
- Up To 50% off Red Hot Room Rates (exclusive discounts for members)
There are 3 tiers:
- Explorer – 1 complimentary hotel night
- Explorer Plus (only available in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore) – 2 complimentary hotel nights
This is mainly used as a status accelerator but it also comes with free night certificates that may be worth the price of membership.
The kicker is that the price is different for countries but there is a “Rest of World” option so North Americans are eligible for it as well. You can also pay for the basic Explorer tier by spending 12,000 ALL Reward points.
Just be careful, to use the free night certificate, some (and most definitely with the highly sought after properties) will require 1-2 paid nights.
The biggest caveat is that this membership only works in these countries: Australia, Cambodia, China, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
PRO TIP: Currently, the Philippines has the cheapest price for Explorer and Indonesia has the cheapest price for Explorer Plus.
More About The Accor Brand

Accor is Europe’s largest hospitality company in Europe and ranked sixth in size worldwide.
The brand started with Novotel in 1967 and later built the ibis budget brand. Mercure was acquired along the ibis. Through a merger with another group, Accor was born in 1983.
There’s almost too many acquisitions, buy stake, selling stake, and rebrands to recount but one thing is certain, they’ve had their own on growth, diversifying in multiple markets, and refining its unique brand and value proposition.
The name Accor was derived from the French-word “Accord”, meaning “agreement”.
Today, Accor has 5,584 locations in over 110 countries and has a diverse offering of properties that cover budget to luxury.
The most recognizable brand in North America is certainly Novotel and Fairmont but brands such as ibis, Mercure, Sofitel, Pullman, and Banyan Tree are ones that are very popular especially in Europe and Asia.
In our opinion, as someone from Canada, Accor has always felt super niche because they’ve never really made much of a dent in the North American market . That said, when you start travelling through Europe and Asia, you really notice their dominance.

Ways To Maximize Your Accor Live Limitless Membership
If you’re super invested into Accor, you’re going to want to look at how to get the most out of ALL Rewards.
Get More ALL Reward Points
Beyond accumulating points through stays, how else can you get more points? Here are a few tried-and-true methods.
1 – Convert Points
There are several rewards programs where you can transfer into the Accor Live Limitless program.
Point Transfers
- Capital One Miles – 2:1
- Citi ThankYou Rewards – 2:1
- Flying Blue Miles – 4:1
- BILT – 3:2
There are more banking partners on their partner portal.
Airlines
Accor is also aligned with many airline partners and you can convert airline miles to ALL .
Airline | Transfer Ratio |
---|---|
Aegean Miles+Bonus | 2,000 Aegean miles : 500 Accor points |
Air France-KLM Flying Blue | 4,000 Flying Blue miles : 1,000 Accor points |
Finnair Plus | 2,300 Avios : 500 Accor points |
Hainan Fortune Wings Club | 2,500 Fortune Wings points : 500 Accor points |
ITA Airways Volare | 4,000 Volare points : 1,000 Accor points |
JAL Mileage Bank | 5,000 JAL miles : 1,000 Accor points |
Juneyao Air Club | 200 Air Club points : 800 Accor points |
LATAM Pass | 5,000 LATAM Pass miles : 2,000 Accor points 5,680 LATAM Pass Brazil miles : 1,000 Accor points |
Qantas Frequent Flyer | No points conversion, but there are other partner benefits |
Qatar Airways Privilege Club | 4,500 Avios : 1,000 Accor points |
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer | 4,500 KrisFlyer miles : 1,000 Accor points |
Tudo Azul | 10,000 Tudo Azul points : 1,000 Accor points |
Is it worth it? Similar to what we said with Hilton Honors points, you’re not getting incredible value by converting points over. We usually treat this as a worst-case scenario when you need a few extra points to push you over the top.
2 – Shop With Partners
These are fairly obscure and not the greatest deal but in the case where “you’re going to be doing it anyways”, this is something you can put in your back pocket.
On the Accor’s Earn page, you can see the various ways where you can earn ALL Reward points including:
- Bars and restaurants – If you dine at specific restaurants, you can earn 1 Reward point per €1.
- Car rental – They have partnerships with Europcar, Hertz, and SIXT.
- Priority Pass – If you’re buying passes, you can do it here to get bonus ALL Reward points.
- Shopping – You can get points by clicking through their links or converting things like CJ ONE Points or Rakuten Point
- Surveys – You can also complete surveys for Reward points. The earnings are very little but it can build up over a long period of time.
Ultimately these aren’t the best ways to earn points as they’re not the most convenient, nor is there a lot of value but if it works out, that’s great!
How to Get Instant Elite Status
Unfortunately, there are no easy ways to instantly gain status with Accor but there are a couple of things that you can consider.
- Stay at Accor properties – This is the standard way of accruing while also taking advantage of point multipliers and bonuses.
- ALL Plus or Accor Plus – These annual subscription memberships come with Status Nights. This means you’ll instantly get Silver and you’ll be well on your way to Gold.
- Accor Shareholders Club – If you own 50 Accor shares, you’ll be able to join the club and that grants you Accor Gold status for the current and following year.
Does Accor have status matching? No, they do not offer any status matching opportunities.
Sweet Spots in Redemption
If you’re looking for the best way to redeem ALL Reward points, there really isn’t anything mind-blowing.
The reason is because redemptions are based on a “points equal cash” structure. Since it isn’t based on categories, you’re getting fixed value where 2,000 ALL Reward points = €40. Therefore, the sweet spots are when you can find a discount on the rate.
Saving Money When Staying With Accor
Accor is quite the unique brand in more ways than one. When it comes to saving money on their properties, it’s certainly a bit harder than others but that isn’t to say that it isn’t possible.
From the base Accor Live Limitless loyalty program, their paid ALL Plus, paying in advance, corporate codes, and promo codes, you’ll be able to find ways to reduce the cost off the rack rate.
Out of everything, Accor’s best feature is the Best Price Guarantee which offers a whopping 25% off so that could provide serious savings if you can take advantage of it.
Best of luck, friends!

Travel Resources For Your Next Trip
If you’re in the process of planning your trip and putting together your itinerary, these are genuinely the best resources that the Going Awesome Places team stands by 100%.
Credit cards: Don’t get burned by hidden fees on top of terrible exchange rates. When we travel now, we use the Wise Card. Simply load it with the currency you need before you go and use it as a regular VISA or their digital wallet card. Use their free app to track how much you have and top up when you need to.
Flights: Of all the booking search engines, Skyscanner is the most helpful and easy to use thanks to their Everywhere feature. Kayak is also another that’s we will often check as well.
Car Rental: If you’re looking to save money, these car rental coupon codes will be a true game-changer. Otherwise, DiscoverCars and RentalCars are great places to start.
Rideshare: For new Lyft users, use code WILLIAM4825 to get 50% off your first 2 rides (max £10 USD per ride). Offer valid for 14 days after you take your first ride. For new Uber users, use code psuqbjg4d7rn for the same offer except it’s valid for 30 days.
Airport Parking: You’ll need a spot to leave your car at the airport so why not book a spot at a discount. Use code AWESOME7 to get at least £5 off at Airport Parking Reservations or Park Sleep Fly packages.
Wifi Hotspot: We’ve been a huge fan of wifi hotspot devices such as PokeFi (use code GAP24300) because their rates are are hard to beat and it works globally. Solis is another that we recommend. Pros are that you can share the wifi with your whole group but cons are that you have to invest in a device and you have to charge it every night.
eSIM: Lately, we’ve really loved using eSIMs. We’ve tested several over the years and we have access to a few special promotions.
- Gigsky: Use TANG149 to get £3 USD when you sign up, then use code GOINGAWESOME to save 20% on all eSIM orders.
- KnowRoaming – Use code GAP10 to save 10%.
- AloSIM – Use code GOINGAWESOMEPLACES to save 15%.
- Airalo – Use referral code WILLIA9500 to get £3 USD credit on your first purchase.
- Ubigi – AWESOME10 to save 10% on your first order.
Hotels: Our go-to is Booking.com because they have the best inventory of properties including hotels and B&Bs plus they have their Genius tier discounts. Expedia is also worth using especially with their One Key rewards program which is basically like cash. The exception is Asia where Agoda always has the best prices. Always do a quick check on TripAdvisor as well.
Vacation Rentals: Your first instinct will be to check Airbnb but we always recommend checking VRBO as well if you’re looking for a vacation rental (now eligible for One Key).
Tours and Activities: When planning our trips, we always check both Viator and GetYourGuide to at least see what’s out there in the destination that we’re going to. They often have different offerings and prices so check both.
Travel Insurance: Learn how to buy the best travel insurance for you. This isn’t something you want to travel without.
- HeyMondo – Popular insurance provider for frequent travelers and comes with great coverage and special perks. By booking through our link to get a 5% discount!
